We hire working creatives — writers who publish, filmmakers who shoot, strategists who create. You do great client work here while building your own brand on the side. We take an equity stake in what you build. Everyone wins or no one does.
Most agencies hire coordinators — people to manage deliverables, relay feedback, and keep things organized. We hire creators. There's a difference, and it shows up in the work.
Every person on the Chaos Consulting team is actively building something of their own — a newsletter, a channel, a production company, a brand. That's not a distraction from the client work. It's the reason the client work is any good.
In exchange for doing exceptional work for our clients, you get a salary, flexible hours, creative freedom, and an infrastructure you couldn't build alone. We take an equity stake in the brands and projects you launch while working here. If it succeeds, we both win. If it doesn't, you still got paid and built something real.
We don't have a ping-pong table or a snack wall. We have interesting work, real creative freedom, and a team that takes what they do seriously. The people who thrive here share a few things in common.
All roles are remote-first. Austin, TX preferred for senior positions but not required for the right candidate.
You'll develop and execute content strategies for entertainment clients, studios, and creators — including editorial calendars, longform content, newsletter copy, and LinkedIn strategy. You'll also have dedicated time to develop your own writing platform or publication.
Send your resume, a link to your portfolio or best work, and a short note on what you're building. No cover letter template needed — just be direct.
You'll manage social media operations for entertainment and creator clients across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X — including content scheduling, community management, trend monitoring, and performance reporting. You'll also build your own social presence as part of your time here.
Send your resume, links to accounts you've managed (or your own), and a brief note on what you're working on creatively.
We're looking for a video editor who specializes in short-form content — someone who understands the rhythm and pacing of content that stops a scroll. You'll edit clips from podcasts, interviews, and raw footage into platform-optimized short-form assets for client channels. Contract to start with a path to full-time.
Send your reel or portfolio links and a note on your current rate and availability. Show us work — that's what matters most.
You sit at the intersection of brand strategy and visual design — you can build a positioning framework and execute the visual identity that brings it to life. You'll lead brand development engagements for clients launching or refreshing, and you'll have time to develop your own design or creative direction practice.
If you're an exceptional creative who believes in the model and has something real you're working to build, we want to hear from you regardless. We've hired people before the role existed because the person was right.
