Careers at Chaos Consulting — Work With a Team That Creates
Join the Team

Built for
people who
are building.

We hire working creatives — writers who publish, filmmakers who shoot, strategists who create. You do great client work here while building your own brand on the side. We take an equity stake in what you build. Everyone wins or no one does.

A different kind of agency model.

Most agencies hire coordinators. We hire creators. Every person on the Chaos Consulting team is actively building something of their own — a newsletter, a channel, a production company, a brand. That's not a distraction from the client work. It's the reason the client work is any good.

In exchange for doing exceptional work for our clients, you get a salary, flexible hours, and creative freedom. We take an equity stake in the brands and projects you launch while working here. If it succeeds, we both win.

01
Client Work — 50%
High-quality strategy, production, and creative work for Chaos Consulting clients. This pays your salary and sharpens your skills across real campaigns with real stakes.
02
Your Brand — 50%
Build your audience, develop your product, launch your show. You have the infrastructure, the team, and the time to do it properly.
03
Equity Alignment
House of Chaos takes a minority equity stake in the brands and projects you develop here. You keep control. We provide capital, infrastructure, and distribution.
04
Grow Together
As your brand grows and the business grows, compensation and ownership evolve. We're looking for builders who stay because it's working.

Not a culture fit.
A build fit.

We don't have a ping-pong table or a snack wall. We have interesting work, real creative freedom, and a team that takes what they do seriously.

01
You're Already Creating
You have a newsletter, a channel, a portfolio — something that demonstrates you make things because you can't not.
02
You Have a Point of View
Generic thinkers produce generic work. We want people who have developed real opinions about their craft.
03
You're Honest About Gaps
We can work with someone who's still learning. We can't work with someone who won't say so.
04
You Deliver
If you say you'll have something by Thursday, it's there by Thursday — or you've flagged a problem before Thursday, not after.
05
Comfortable With Ambiguity
We're a growing agency. The people who do best here move forward in uncertainty without needing a perfect brief first.
06
You Want to Build
The model only works if you have genuine ambition for your own creative project. This is for someone who wants the infrastructure to build it.

No open roles
right now.

We're not always hiring, but we're always paying attention. If the model resonates and you're genuinely building something, send us your work. When the right role opens up — or when we create one for the right person — you'll be the first call.

Get on our radar.

Send us a note introducing yourself — who you are, what you do, and what you're building. Include a link to your best work. We keep every submission on file and reach out when something relevant comes up. No applications disappear into a void here.

Tell us who you are — your background, your craft, and the kind of work you do best.
Show us what you make — portfolio, channel, publication, whatever demonstrates how you think.
Tell us what you're building — the side project, the brand, the thing you're working toward.
Tell us what role makes sense — content strategy, social, video, design, or something else entirely.

We respond to every submission — yes, no, or not yet. You won't be ghosted.

01
Skin in the Game
We're building alongside our clients and our team. Everyone here has something real at stake.
02
Honesty Over Comfort
We tell clients the truth. We tell each other the truth. A team that can't have hard conversations produces mediocre work.
03
Creatives Deserve Infrastructure
The reason most talented people never build anything is logistics, not ability. We exist to remove that barrier.
04
Results Are the Only Metric
We don't optimize for looking busy or winning awards. We optimize for outcomes — for clients and the brands we're building.
